Krating Poonpol is Thailand’ s Business Man of The Year 2016 and a Partner at 500 Startups running its $15 million microfund – 500 TukTuks focusing on Thailand and SEA. In 18 months, he has invested in 30 startups including Omise (series B of 17.5 M USD), Claim Di (series A of $2 million), Pomelo (series A of $11 million), TrustingSocial, FinAccel, etc. He is also a founder of Disrupt, top startup education and pre-accelerator program in South East Asia with over 800 graduates such as – Taamkru ( Asia’s Most Promising Startup of 2014), ThinkOfLiving (exit to iProperty for $8 million), Claim Di (series A), Giztix ( Thailand’s number 1 growth stage startup), Freshket ( Thailand’s number 1 early stage startup ), etc. He also founded dtac Accelerate – top startup accelerator in SEA with 70% follow on funding rate.

Krating is ex-Global lead Product Marketing Manager of Google Earth and Asia Pacific’s Regional lead of Quantitative Marketing of Google in its HQ in Silicon Valley and ex-McKinsey consultant.

Krating graduated from Stanford Business School in 2007 and is a sought after speaker at leading international conference such as Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2016 hosted by President Barack Obama and White House, MIT Asia Business Conference 2016, Guangzhou International Innovation Conference 2016, and Singapore FinTech Festival by Monetary Authority of Singapore.
